Master Electrician / Switchmaster Mains Operation (m/w/d)

I control and monitor high voltage systems in my network area and thus ensure that the current continues to flow.

I take over the “technical monitoring site” in the local Commander. I monitor our high voltage systems in Network area of the South Regional Centre (Sustainable Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia) and so in cooperation with our central control center for safe operation and network management in early and late service (Mondays to Fridays) and on standby.

In the first 1 to 2 years, I will make myself a good one familiar with the systems of our power grid. Next I apply the switching permissions for selected transformers and for the technical monitoring site – this is the prerequisite for the takeover of plant responsibility

My tasks

· In close coordination with our central control centre and Distribution system operators I conduct switching operations in the high voltage network by and wise them, · I put the self-sufficiency supply for grids of the Regional centers safe, · During my service I capture and document operations and disturbance events; · I receive, impart and receive permission to work and coordinates operational switch-off requirements for the plants; · I take part in the first clarification in the event of a malfunction and induce emergency measures to eliminate disturbances or limitation of damage, · I make sure that the documentation for plant operation is always are current, · I participate in on-site inspections and audits (e.g. operation or working and environmental protection), · I participate in the standby service, · In summary, I am providing as a service provider of the regional centre to ensure that the power grids in my network area are safe at all times are supplied with energy.

My skills

· Complete technician or master training in the field electrical engineering or energy technology, · Very good German knowledge (C1) and good English knowledge (B2), · Class B driving licence, · Health requirements for driving and tax activities.

No need, but of advantage

· Multiannual practical experience in the operation of electrical networks, · Secure handling of MS Office and database applications.
