Carpenter (m/f/d)

As a carpenter (m/w/d) at an internationally leading Tier 1 supplier of the aviation industry, with a focus on the development, production and maintenance of cabin and system solutions for commercial aircraft in Finkenwerder, you can expect a varied and exciting activity in the aircraft interior. You work, assemble and repair cabin components with a special focus on wood and wood-based materials. You work according to technical drawings, work plans and air travel specific quality specifications. Your tasks make an important contribution to the safety, functionality and aesthetics of aircraft cabins.

• You take over the production, adaptation and assembly of cabin components and assemblies.
• Rework and repair of aircraft interior components are part of your working day.
• You work wood, lightweight panels and comparable materials — sawing, milling, drilling and grinding are your special areas.
• Adhesive work, joining work and surface work, including spatulas and preparatory painting activities, are also included.
• The work according to technical drawings, piece lists and work instructions is not a difficulty for you.
• You carry out quality checks in the process, including visual and functional checks.
• You document your work steps according to the internal requirements and actively support the maintenance of work safety.
