You’ll create impact by
- Acting as the technical expert and coach for Cabinets & Low Voltage Switchgears with strong leadership skills.
- Driving the commodity strategy together with your commercial partner for your assigned material field with a focus on Cost and Value Engineering, (Supplier) Portfolio Management, Innovation, Sustainability and Supplier Quality.
- Driving the standardization and sustainable specification of components and technologies in line with product, cost and environmental targets.
- Supporting Siemens' goals through close collaboration with suppliers and internal cross-functional partners.
- Identifying and evaluating innovative solutions and products from suppliers to meet business needs. Promoting and implementing innovation selecteds together with cross-functional partners.
- Influencing the selection of preferred suppliers and products already in the early design phase providing technical expertise and cost information.
- Handling and implementing Cost and Value Engineering projects in cross-functional collaboration, deriving efficiency measures from cost and price transparency.
- Steering and executing of a superior Supplier Quality strategy and coordination and driving pre-assessments and audit.
- Running and coordinating global technology and quality networks, ensuring exchange of information in adequate frequency.

Education: Completed master’s degree in electrical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field.
Experience & Skills:
You have many years of experience in Engineering, R&D or Supplier Quality Management
You have strong technical knowledge of cabinets, low voltage switchgear and their manufacturing processes.
You’ve worked in cross--, international teams and understand the dynamics of modern supply chains and you are experienced in project management.

You work strategically and systemically – but are hands-on when needed.
You communicate clearly across levels and cultures and enjoy stakeholder management.
You’re motivated by making systems better: skilled, artificial and experienced.
