To further develop our governance, risk and compliance structures, we are looking for: (Senior) Compliance Manager (m/w/d) in full or part-time at the location Cologne

You develop, implement and monitor our compliance standards, processes, controls and guidelines and ensure that our compliance management system is further developed. Regulatory Monitoring You evaluate relevant legal and regulatory developments in the insurance and financial services environment, evaluate their impact on SRC and guide concrete action recommendations. Risk Assessment and Controls You identify, analyze and evaluate compliance risks in our business processes, products and contractual relationships and assist in deriving risk mitigating measures. Consultancy You work hand in hand with the management and departments and support in all matters concerning compliance, governance, internal requirements and corporate ethics. The creation, implementation and regular updating of policies, procedures, work instructions and documentation to comply with compliance requirements are yours. You support the audit of contracts, authorisations, service provider relationships and business partner-related compliance questions and work closely with internal and external contact persons. Training and Awareness You design and coordinate compliance training as well as awareness-raising for our employees to strengthen awareness of legal requirements and inclusive behavior.

You have a successfully completed study of legal or economic sciences, economic law or related fields. Alternatively, you have completed a comparable training in compliance, risk management, financial law or corporate governance. You bring multi-year experience in compliance, legal, governance, risk management, internal audit, or comparable control. Experience in the insurance industry, with an accolade, intermediary or financial service provider is of advantage. You have a good understanding of regulated business models and can translate requirements from insurance supervision, sales regulation, money laundering prevention, sanctions, data protection, outsourcing or IKS into pragmatic processes. Analytical skills You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to structure complex issues, evaluate risks and formulate clear recommendations for action. Your strong communication skills, both in writing and oral, you are able to communicate compliance topics in a targeted, binding and comprehensible manner. You have very good knowledge of German and good to very good knowledge of English. The default Microsoft Office programs are safe and work quickly into specific management programs. Integrity and team skills You work carefully, discreetly and independently. At the same time, you are a team player, enjoying deepening knowledge and developing pragmatic solutions within the meaning of all relevant stakeholders.
