Do you like to take responsibility for technical decisions, actively shape software architectures and want to develop our platform in a sustainable manner? Then you are right in our Northstar team! As an architect (m/w/d), you are responsible for the design and development of our software architecture for mobile applications on iOS and Android. You consistently rely on modern technologies such as Kotlin Multiplattform and Compose Multiplattform. You develop scalable platform and reuse components that make other teams more productive, take responsibility for technical decisions and ensure high software quality. Through active exchange with development, product and UX, you bring your knowledge to sustainable, sustainable solutions.

Together with other architects, you continuously develop our app platform based on Kotlin Multiplatform. You support product teams that build on our platform through consulting, documentation and technical support. With Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform you design modern, intuitive UI and platform components. You bring your own ideas and develop innovative technical concepts in close coordination with Product Ownern and UX. You are involved in defining technical requirements – e.g. for platform components, automated tests and build processes – and always have the overall strategy in mind. You can help with cost estimates and technical planning.

A completed study in the STEM field or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience. Multiannual experience in software architecture/development for mobile applications, ideally focusing on cross-platform technologies. Very good knowledge in Kotlin, ideally complemented by experience with Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform. Founded practice with popular tools and methods such as Android Studio, IntelliJ, Jira/Confluence, Dependency Injection, Unit Testing and Test Automation. Joy in sharing knowledge and actively establishing best practices for software quality in the team. Experience with agile working methods such as Scrum or Kanban as well as a team-oriented working at eye level. Embossed analytical thinking, technical understanding and a high level of learning.
