As a road construction agency, we are responsible for the complete value chain of road construction and take care of mobility strategies, planning, construction, road operation and traffic management. The Operation and Transport Department, with its 46 road masters, ensures safety throughout the year as well as the management of the federal, state and district roads: These include, for example, state and function checks, repair of road damage, wood maintenance, road cleaning and winter service. The department also supervises over 2,400 light signal systems. You actively contribute to the development of traffic technology in Hessen and make an important contribution to the implementation of forward-looking solutions for a modern, networked and safe transport infrastructure. In this responsible position, you can expect the following tasks: You actively shape the development of traffic technology in Hesse by dealing with current traffic issues and developments and accompanying the introduction of modern systems such as C-ITS, OCIT and RSUs Another focus of your activity is the establishment and further development of interfaces between regional LSA management and LSA headquarters You support knowledge transfer, organize and conduct training for LSA specialists As a contact person, you will be assisting employees in matters of transport technology, supporting projects and research projects in a professional manner and representing their expertise in nationwide and nationwide working groups with a focus on transport technology. In addition, create sound opinions on internal and external enquiries You contribute to the introduction of ISM and Kritis measures and, through your support, make an important contribution to establishing a secure IT infrastructure

Complete university degree (FH Diploma / Bachelor) with the discipline of transport engineering, civil engineering or mobility management or a comparable qualification You have specialist knowledge in the field of transport technology or are prepared to acquire them in a targeted manner. Ideally, you know the relevant guidelines and standards of transport technology and have first experience with modern transport systems such as OCIT, C-ITS and RSU In addition, knowledge in applications such as LISA+, PTV VISSIM or comparable programs are advantageous Secure handling of MS Office standard software and knowledge in MapInfo and CorelDRAW complete your professional profile You have a very good oral and written expressability in the German language (min. level C1 CEFR) You have a valid class B driving licence
