In the System Design Projection Optics Division of the ZEISS Division Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology, we form the future of semiconductor lithography with physical-optical modeling and system engineering of projection optics. Our task is to ensure the outstanding optical performance of our systems in operation – from idea-finding and technology development to series maturity and further development. They model, simulate and evaluate physical-optical properties of lithography lenses

They develop optical components and guide and negotiate corresponding requirements

They use extensive simulation tools and develop them further

work with an interdisciplinary team and coordinate the activities in product development

Document your development results and present you in a comprehensible and concise manner

You are among the best of your subject (physics or a comparable subject) - experiences that you have gained as part of a promotion or as a PostDoc are very welcome

They bring experience with optimization problems and algorithms

You have very good simulation and programming skills in Python

with a systematic, scientific, creative and self-motivated approach, you encounter new and challenging tasks

You have fun working in an interdisciplinary team and have good negotiating skills and enforcement skills
