Laboratory Engineer (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d)

Place: Wuppertal

For a customer we are now looking for a laboratory engineer (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) for the field of materials technology. The project is scheduled until December 2025. It is about the following tasks: Coordination of the investigations to be carried out in various projects Conducting material engineering studies on plastic components including Evaluation and documentation Coordination and planning of testing processes in the development of new products Support and cooperation with other departments to improve existing products Ensuring the operational readiness of laboratory equipment, organization of calibrations, maintenance etc. Conducting standardized or specific material tests on plastic, metal or composite systems, on components, components and end products Support in damage analysis and advice on material selection Own implementation and documentation of the results for deriving recommendations Processing material engineering questions in cooperation with various development teams

Completed engineering studies in the field of materials engineering, mechanical engineering, plastics engineering, chemical or process engineering or comparable training Multiannual professional experience in plastics technology, in particular in the application of material-specific analysis and testing methods Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations Very good MS Office knowledge Excellent organizational skills, team and communication skills Responsible and independent working Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing (C1 or better) JOBV1_EN
