Strategic Procurement Engineer (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d)

Location: Munich

Responsibility for the smooth running of all procurement processes and coordination of the involved purchasing resources and measures independent control of material procurement for prototypes and zero series including the compilation of technical documents (e.g. drawings, specifications, data sheets) holistic management of the procurement process: from the selection of suppliers and strategy development to the request for tender, negotiation and calculation to the supplier registration Analysis and control of target costs and structural cost aspects as part of product development Active interface for project-specific communication with suppliers, in particular in early development phases Identification and evaluation of new technologies to support the development department (R&D) within the product starting group (PAG)

Completed study with technical or business focus Multiannual professional experience in various functions such as purchasing, research & development or project management with sound cross-disciplinary cooperation Excellent knowledge of English in word and writing Deep understanding of technical and commercial product aspects Funded knowledge of contract law and the management of complex projects Convincing negotiation skills and structured communication
