Our area is part of a department that sees itself as a modern in-house digital agency. We drive new and exciting business ideas for our Vodafone business customer division from the first vision, design and software development to market-ready digital service. You play a central role in this, by unraveling the necessary infrastructure in the cloud, and by using your methodology and knowledge, you are instrumental in successfully implementing the entire software supply chain.

What awaits you: As Senior Expert Online DevOps Platform Manager (m/w/d), you are responsible for implementing new digital services. Your attention is at the technical level with a focus on infrastructure and you are able to also act as an interface between technology and business. You act as technical advice from international product teams You are responsible for escalation management and you define operating standards that also ensure implementation and compliance. You’ll be puggling and expanding a portfolio of processes, practices and tools to best support our agile teams in the continuous delivery of software & services.

What distinguishes you: A completed study of (economic) computer science, engineering and mathematics. At least 5 years of professional experience in IT solution design, software application development and/or IT operation. At least three years of experience in DevOps platform management in the context of a larger project/program or line-up. You are familiar with concepts such as Cloud Native, Microservices and Infrastructure as Code, generally have a broad infrastructure knowledge and can transport your knowledge well. Comprehensive experience in working with at least two or more programming languages (e.g. JavaScript, Java, Python), virtualization and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes), relational and NoSQL Database technologies (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), Infrastructure Automation and Configuration Management tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible), Message Broker (e.g. RabbitMQ, Kafka), Identify and Access Management (e.g. Keycloak), Public Cloud (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP), further tools of a software supply chain (e.g. Very good conceptual skills, analytical and strategic thinking as well as an above-average expression in method, social and leadership skills. Current knowledge of German in word and writing. Very good knowledge of English in word and writing (B2 to GER).

This body can be exercised in fulltime or full-time part-time (min. 30 hours).
