Creating fascinating: your tasks Responsibility for strategic procurement of manufacturing materials, components and assemblies within our defense projects Development and implementation of appropriate procurement and supplier strategies taking into account costs, quality, dates, capacities and security of supply Identification, selection and evaluation of appropriate national and international suppliers and the establishment of an efficient supplier base Responsibility for onboarding and qualification of new suppliers in close cooperation with quality, technology and production Implementation of tenders and preparation, management and follow-up of price, contract and award negotiations Accompanying suppliers and procurement collections from the request and award, through industrialization to the serial high Ensuring material availability and early identification of procurement, capacity and supplier risks, as well as deriving appropriate measures Participation in make-or-buy decisions and in the development and implementation of dual and second-source strategies Continuous analysis and implementation of cost optimization and security measures Control and tracking of purchase-relevant project milestones and regular reporting of procurement status Close coordination with internal interfaces and with customers, suppliers and other project partners

Bringing strengths: your qualifications successfully completed studies in the field of economic engineering, business management, mechanical engineering or a comparable field; alternative a comparable commercial or technical training with corresponding further training Multiannual professional experience in strategic purchasing, project purchase or supply chain management, ideally in a manufacturing industrial company Experience in the selection, qualification and development of suppliers and in the implementation of tenders and contract negotiations Embossed technical understanding and interest in complex manufacturing and procurement processes Experience in purchasing parts, steel components, mechanically machined components or comparable production volumes Experience in the defense environment or with increased quality, documentation and compliance requirements German and English knowledge in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office and ideally experience with ERP/creation systems Entrepreneurial and analytical thinking as well as pronounced cost, quality and time consciousness Negotiation skills, communication strength, enforcement ability and sovereign appearance towards suppliers and internal stakeholders Self-contained, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation as well as the joy of actively building structures and processes
