Empower & Lead: Mentor and develop a high-performing ESH/ERC team, fostering a culture of ownership and safety leadership. System Architecture: Develop and implement robust management systems that align corporate global policies with the specific operational needs of the Dresden Fab. Regulatory Command: Stay ahead of the curve by translating complex EU, German Federal, and Saxony State regulations into actionable site standards. Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as a key diplomatict and technical expert in communications with government entities, international customers, and corporate stakeholders. Audit & Elevate: Oversee comprehensive audit programs to identify opportunities for guarantee, guarantee we don't just meet, but exceed legal and internal requirements. Resilience & Response: Lead the charge in emergency response planning and fire prevention strategies, ensuring the site is prepared for any scenario. Incident Prevention: Champion a ''Lessons Learned'' culture by detecting near-misses and incidents to implement preventative actions.

We are looking for a visionary leader who combines technical mastery with the ability to navigate complex organizational landscapes. Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related engineering field. Experience: A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in ESH/ERC roles, with a proven track record in leadership. Industry Background: Experience in the semiconductor industry, high-tech manufacturing, or a large-scale international environment is highly preferred. Certifications: You are a certified Occupational Safety Expert (Sifa) or Safety Manager (BG, TÜV). Additional certifications in Fire Protection or Industrial Hygiene are a significant advantage. Regulatory Expertise: Deep familiarity with German ESH and fire codes is essential. Knowledge of global standards (e.g., FM Global or NFPA) and proficiency in ISO 14001/45001 is expected. Soft Skills: You are a strategic thinker, a skilled negotiator, and a resilient problem-solver who can adapt to the fast-paced demands of a major construction and start-up project. Communication: German (C1/Native) - Essential for legal compliance and authority liaison in Saxony; English (B2/C1) – Needed for collaboration within our global corporate network and stakeholders; Mandarin skills - a plus.
