Type of employment: Unlimited Working time: Full time Place of work: Dresden They are part of the analytical team of our quality department and take over the independent implementation and documentation of physical analyses on semiconductor chips of various technologies. As an expert for transmission electron microscopy, you are responsible for the quality and timely processing of our TEM analyses from image recording and evaluation to all questions of material analysis up to report generation. Their analyses serve internal divisions for technology development, for the release of production materials and plants, and for process control. You know the details of semiconductor-specific manufacturing processes. In combination with your scientific background in the fields of materials science and solid state physics, you are able to translate the client's questions into the analytical method you choose. They are capable of carrying out a scientifically sound analysis beyond the pure picture of the sample, which helps the client to answer his question by using all the existing methodological possibilities. You are professional contact for your clients and your analytics colleagues. If necessary, you will advise on the analytical possibilities and represent your analysis results in in interdisciplinary teams. For your colleagues, you are a model for good coordination, efficient analysis and high-quality results. They ensure the smooth operation of the electron microscope, take over the device calibration and coordinate service operations. They match the established procedures in the laboratory with innovations in the semiconductor sector and with future requirements of our factory and actively shape the future orientation of your work area.

Training: successfully completed scientific or technical studies; relevant, multiannual professional experience in the semiconductor field with the focus on transmission electron microscopy Personality: collaborative, team-ready, communication-strong, resilient, flexible Working method: responsible, structured, independent, forward-looking, solution-oriented and customer-oriented, hands-on-mediality for laboratory work Experiences: safe operation of transmission electron microscopes in all imaging modes, electron diffraction, STEM and DPC, including analytical methods such as EDX and EELS; knowledge of further methods and their application/evaluation, in particular FIB/SEM, of advantage Languages: very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
