The Jugendstrafanstalt Berlin is a prison for young male prisoners aged 14 to 27. We have 430 places of detention, which are divided into 4 areas: detention, imprisonment in closed and open execution, drug field and social therapeutic department. Our staff body currently comprises approx. 330 employees of different professional groups, including general staff, social services, work service, nursing service, administrative services and teachers.

Your area of responsibility includes:

Group Leader in Criminal Liability House 3 (m/w/d) • Head of a group of young and growing prisoners, • social-pedagogical treatment and care of inmates according to the respective conception of the area, e.g. implementation of treatment studies and interviews; • Creating and/or updating the execution planning, • Participation or follow-up decision in the case of the granting of block exemptions, preparation of and assistance in the dismissal, processing or participation of all administrative operations arising in this context.

Management for the group supervisors assigned to the group of the general executive service

You have... • fulfilling the requirements of the runway law as well as experience in the tasks of the social service to judicial enforcement agencies

Remarkable: • Extensive experience in the work with difficult, also addicted young clientele and in the work in a free-of-charge context

Other: • Knowledge of relevant educational-pedagogical basics for pedagogical intervention and execution as well as experience in the performance-specific pedagogical action in youthfulness/organization / performance, learning and changeability / diversity competence / migration-social competence / service orientation / collaborative ability / communication skills / target and outcome orientation / decision-making/strategic competence/ self-development skills
