Information Security Officer (m/f/d)

As Information Security Officer (m/w/d) für die Banknotendruckerei Leipzig you are the central contact person for information security on site and work closely with production, IT, OT, engineering and corporate security: Responsibility for operational information security in banknote printing Implementation and further development of group-wide safety requirements at the site Support for the establishment and operation of an Information Security Management System (ISMS) for printing Implementation and monitoring of risk analyses, security checks and internal audits in IT and OT environments Working with secure architectures for our production networks (network segmentation, zones / concepts, remote access) Participation in securing: classic OT networks with corresponding production machines modern cloud and zero-trust environments Endpoints, servers, applications and intersections

Support for IT/OT projects according to the principle “Security by Design” – from new production plant to cloud application Vulnerability and patch management support – including pragmatic solutions for systems that cannot be updated easily Participation in incident management (identification, analysis, coordination of actions in safety incidents) Creation and maintenance of safety guidelines, guides and documentation awareness and training of employees on information security in production and administration

You don't have to be able to do anything yet – it is important that you are technically curious, willing to take responsibility and work in both IT and OT topics. Graduate in Computer Science, IT Security, Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Business Informatics, etc. or comparable training (e.g. First professional experience (at least about three to five years) in a technical environment, e.g. industrial / OT environment, automation technology, manufacturing or IT infrastructure, system administration, network operation or Software development with interest in security

Basic know-how in several of the following areas: network bases (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewall concepts) Operating systems (Windows, ideally also Linux) Endpoint and server security (e.g. virus protection, curing, rights concepts) Cloud services (e.g. Azure, AWS) and ideally first touch with zero-trust concepts

Interest in OT security / industrial safety (e.g. production facilities, SPS, SCADA, ICS) – existing experience is a plus First contact points with safety standards and frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST CSF, IEC 62443) are advantageous Efforts to explain complex technical characteristics – from machine operator (m/w/d) to factory management Structured, reliable way of working and the desire to advance themes independently Good English and very good German knowledge in word and writing Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GICSP o. A is not a must, but a plus – we will be happy to support you with appropriate further education.
