Manage, prepare and carry out acquisitions of development projects in the early phase as well as sales of 0.5-1 GW and more per year of Renewables projects or portfolios.
Check and evaluate new investment opportunities in the core markets of Uniper Renewables (Germany, UK, France, Poland, Hungary, Italy, Nordic countries).
Use and analyze financial models and carry out sensitivity analyses in the context of the M&A process.
Conduct the commercial due diligence independently and coordinate the entire due diligence and investment process with internal and external partners and consultants.
Guide the internal project team and external consultants to solve project problems and risks and ensure project success.
Treat the transaction structure, commercial conditions and documentation (SPA, SHA, DSA among others) with counterparties together with relevant stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcome for Uniper.
Manage joint ventures, partnership structures and acquired companies.
Ensure optimal cooperation within the Renewables team, consisting of developers, engineers, acceptance managers, market and strategy analysts and a network of external partners.
Reports to the Vice President Asset Rotation & Partnering at Uniper.
University degree in engineering, business, economy or comparable degree programmes.
Multiannual experience in project development, investment management, M&A consulting, corporate finance or an IPP or utility company.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and experience in managing project teams.
Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, mastery of MS Office (especially Excel, PPT and Word).
Understanding the most important economic drivers of solar and wind power plants on the supply scale.
Creative and open minded personality with a good sense of humor.
Enthusiasm for renewable energies, investments, financial modelling and project financing.
Detectable international professional experience (ideally) and appreciation of cultural differences.
High mobility/discipline for international travel.
Negotiating German and English, other languages are advantageous.
