RWU is a university of applied sciences in one of the most beautiful and economically strong regions in Europe. The students are at the centre of our work. Future Science University (FSU) is a RWU's development project funded by the Innovation Foundation in Higher Education with the aim of rethinking and building a future-oriented technology study program. The focus is on project and problem-oriented learning, interdisciplinary cooperation, as well as the promotion of design and reflection competence in students. The project follows a model approach that not only tests new teaching formats, but also enables structural innovations within the university. The adjustment is terminated until 31.12.2029.

Curricular redesign: Systematic transfer of classic engineering modules into innovative, project-oriented teaching-learn formats (POL). Digital transformation: conception and creation of interactive digital accompanying materials to support self-controlled learning processes. Teaching & Coaching: Conducting events as well as professional support and moderation of student project teams as part of the Future Science University project Application-related research: Scientific accompanying research and cyclical teaching improvement following the Design-Based Research (DBR) approach. Scientific visibility: working up results for specialist publications and presentation of project results at international conferences. We would support a specialist doctoral project.

Academic degree (e.g. Master or University Diploma) in engineering sciences, preferably in mechanical engineering, computer science or electrical engineering or close to the field (e.g. Mechatronics, industrial engineering). Professional qualification (e.g. teaching certificate) and experience of advantage.
