Prof. Frank Piller and Dr. Patrick Pollok of RWTH TIM are part of the research team and contribute their expertise in the areas of innovation ecosystems, business model innovation, open innovation and digital transformation. We are looking for talented and motivated doctoral students with expertise in the energy sector. The RWTH is certified as a family-friendly university. Very good completed university degree (master or comparable) in economic engineering, BWL, economics, or a related area Outstanding interest and ideally background knowledge in the fields of energy systems, energy transition, energy economy, platform economy and/or business model innovation Knowledge of programming, data analysis and simulation or willingness to develop it Embossed analytical skills and a high degree of self-motivation and self-organisation You are inspiring for research in innovation management and cooperation with other disciplines. Very good English knowledge in word and writing, as well as fun reading and writing of specialist texts Basic knowledge of German is advantageous

The employment is in the employment relationship. The place shall be occupied at the next possible time and shall be limited to three years. An extension is possible. The temporary employment is carried out within the framework of the time-limits of the science-time contract law. It is a full-time job. There is a doctoral opportunity. The grouping depends on the TV-L. The place is rated with EG 13 TV-L. The job description is aimed at all sexes.
