The Staatliche Hochbauamt Karlsruhe implements various construction projects on behalf of the federal government. We are responsible for civil and military construction measures, linked to the high-performance federal construction of Baden-Württemberg with around 780 employees. At the Berlin site we serve outstanding cultural buildings such as the “berlin modern” museum building as well as complex research and laboratory buildings federal research institutions. We work in interdisciplinary teams from young and experienced construction professionals of all divisions, as contractor representation and large general planning office. Legal accompaniment of construction projects, processing of specialist legal issues and coordination of external lawyers Legal support of the management level and specialist project management in all legal matters relating to construction, planning and project participants Legal support in negotiations and judicial and extrajudicial disputes conflict resolution and dispute resolution in construction and planning, in particular in disputes with construction companies and planning offices; independent analysis / processing, development of sustainable solutions, moderation Procurement support including participation in the creation of award documents and contracts, processing of complaints and clarification of award-related questions for awards and assistance in matters and problems Contract management, in particular auditing, creating and negotiating contracts, managing deadlines and legally relevant documents, claim management A change in the task section is reserved.

Complete study of architecture, civil engineering, industrial engineering, (economic) lawyer, administrative specialist, construction/management or comparable Experience in contract and claim management and construction At least 3 years of experience in the construction sector desirable Teamability, performance and strong planning, organisational and conflict resolution competence Reliability, initiative, sense of responsibility, economic understanding and joy of decision High communicative competence, very good written and oral expressability, enforcement ability, negotiation skills and openness for different topics Sensitivity for political, legal and budgetary relations and knowledge in building and procurement law The willingness to travel between Karlsruhe and Berlin is assumed
