The body shall be occupied at the next possible time in full or part-time employment, initially fixed for 12 months. Further employment is being pursued. Remuneration is carried out in accordance with the rules of the collective agreement for the public service of the countries (TV-L).

The Institute of Physiology represents the subject of physiology in teaching and research. In teaching, the staff of the Institute carry out teaching tasks as part of the training of the students of the doctorate program Medicine, Dentistry and Hebammenkunde at the Medical Faculty in Dresden, as well as the model study program Humanmedicine at the Klinikum Chemnitz. The research focus of the institute is on metabolic physiology, regulation and associated pathologies, such as diabetes, high blood pressure and kidney diseases. Our aim is to understand the function of these systems of the organism and of the cells, tissues and organs involved in it, to reveal mechanisms that lead to their diseases, and to develop new therapeutic approaches.

Needs all your skills - your challenge: Their area of responsibility includes work in the fields of teaching and research of the Institute. In your research project, you conduct experimental work on cells, tissues (human and animal) and animal models by applying and evaluating analytical methods of cell, molecular biology and physiology. In teaching, you are responsible for the preparation and execution of student seminars and internships of physiology, as well as in the execution of student performance controls.
