Digital Transformation: You actively shape the digital transformation of our hardware development (CAE) and hit the bridge between the CAE level and our PLM / ERP systems; as a PCB layout designer (m/w/d) with focus on system integration, automate our design processes and work significantly to establish and ensure a continuous, error-free data chain (Single Source of Truth) for our PCB development. Workflow development: You are actively involved in the design and implementation of new digital workflows to connect our CAE layout systems closely with the PLM system. Library Management & Integration: You are responsible for maintaining and structuring our CAE libraries and are working on the technological coupling of libraries between ERP, PLM and CAE systems. Automation: To make processes more efficient, develop and implement scripts within the CAE system. Data quality: You make sure that the created layouts and the components used are consistent with the master data in the PLM / ERP system.

Expertise: You have profound experience in PCB layout design (CAE) and a profound understanding of the entire life cycle of a printed circuit board – from component selection to finished layout. Technical understanding: You have a strong understanding of the logical relationships between engineering data (CAE) and corporate resource planning (ERP / PLM). Programming skills: You bring basic programming skills and enjoy automating manual processes by scripting (CAE script languages for Siemens Xpedition). Methodology competence: You have experience in the area of library management and understand the importance of structured data. Soft Skills: You are a communicative team player (m/w/d), who can clearly formulate complex technical issues and likes to work with various departments (development, IT and production).
