Strategic Buyer Public Procurement (m/f/d)

Do you bring experience in purchasing and public procurement and want to control procurement processes legally secure, structured and pragmatic? Do you like to work hands-on, think strategically and keep track of complex tenders, deadlines and funding projects? For our customers, we are looking for a strategic buyer / purchasing manager public procurement (m/w/d) in Berlin. In this position, you work in a small shopping team and are responsible for diverse procurement processes – from goods of daily need to services to construction, engineering and technical investment projects with partly high procurement volumes.

Legally secure implementation of procurement processes as contracting entities in cooperation with departments and subsidiaries Implementation of national tenders and EU procurement procedures taking into account existing procurement regulations and internal procurement directives Purchasing of goods, services, construction and engineering services and technical goods Operational processing of order processes including offer comparisons, order monitoring, goods entry, master data maintenance and complaints Processing of input invoices in electronic procedures as well as documentation, storage and close communication with internal departments

Completed commercial training, ideally complemented by a qualification in the area of purchasing and material management Multiannual professional experience in purchasing, in particular in public procurement of works, supply and service contracts including EU procurement knowledge of the award regulations of the Land of Berlin and experience with internal award guidelines of contracting authorities Secure handling of SAP MM, MS Office and electronic supplier management and tender platforms German language skills, team skills, self-motivation, persuasiveness as well as active and hands-on-influenced working methods
