Project Assistant Regional Agency Düsseldorf/District of Mettmann (m/w/d) - Part-time

The IHK Düsseldorf is the self-government of the regional economy in Düsseldorf, which is responsible for both political representation and services for around 95,000 companies and implements high-level tasks on behalf of the state. It is an interface between the North Rhine-Westphalia state government and the regional labour market actors – from companies to educational institutions and chambers to municipalities, associations, employment agencies, job centres and trade unions. The regional agency is an organisational part of the IHK Düsseldorf business service department, which supports small and medium-sized companies with practical information, individual advice and a diverse range of events. In order to achieve this task, we are looking for a dedicated personality with a high level of consulting skills and a great deal of networking in the project cooperation Regionalagentur Düsseldorf/Kreis Mettmann (m/w/d) in parttime The place is anchored in part-time (20 hours) in the regional agency Düsseldorf/Kreis Mettmann and is limited until 31.12.2027. A continuation is sought.

Your duties As part of the two-headed team of the regional agency, you support the implementation of the local labour market policy. They advise project promoters, companies and council-seekers on the country's funding offerings, accompany projects under the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) and actively engage in regional networks.

Your tasks in detail:

Advising companies, carriers and other interested parties on funding programmes of the State of NRW (in particular ESF+) Support for project management in the implementation and coordination of the regional agency Support and support of project promoters in application and implementation of ESF co-financed programmes Cooperation in the preparation of regional opinions Planning and implementation of information events, network meetings and public relations Documentation of activities and support in the creation of proofs of interim and use Monitoring regional labour market trends and participation in the further development of formats and thematic priorities

Complete university studies (Bachelor or equivalent), for example in social, administrative, economic or political sciences or relevant, proven professional experience in project-related consulting or administration Experience with publicly funded programmes – ideally in the context of labour market policy or structural support Representative communicative competence, organizational skills and consulting experience Responsible, structured work Team spirit and joy in joint design Safe handling of digital tools and good written expressability Advantageous knowledge of public relations or organisation of events Openness for work in a political-administrative environment and with regional networks Experience in public relations and working with political bodies
