As a development engineer:in driving and controlling innovative technology developments for complex products with close timing with demanding customers, you are essential for implementing the development goals as part of an expert team. Their success results from a combination of intensive and joint work with high self-responsibility and self-employment. At the core, you develop wafer processes for the production of micromechanical products conceptually, in the clean room and in the laboratory. They achieve the development goals by using new technologies and materials and assess the feasibility of new processes under technical and economic considerations. The coordination of internal interfaces in development and production for the development of new solutions and their implementation in patterns up to series maturity is in your area of responsibility. Last but not least, you conduct quality assessments and process releases and cooperate with the research institutions on basic development.

Education: completed university studies of engineering or natural sciences, Physics, chemistry, electrical engineering, material sciences or a comparable study programme experience and know-how: multiannual professional experience in the development of innovative MEMS/semiconductor technologies; very good knowledge of sensor technology, micromechanics and semiconductor technology including relevant analytical methods; excellent understanding of physical foundations and relationships; Knowledge of statistics and automated data analysis Personality and work: You motivate others and find creative solutions; They consistently set up targets and take proactive action to achieve targets; They develop innovative ideas and solutions, work effectively in the team and promote cooperation; also under pressure and in stressful situations, you can handle your tasks successfully as you always work structured and organized; You make quick and safe decisions Enthusiasm: They show enthusiasm for new challenges Languages: very good German and English in word and writing Application period up to and including 10.04.2025. *The gross annual salary for this body is, according to our regulations, at least EUR 86,000 for a 35h week (for a full year of employment and fulfilment of the tariff requirements).
