Number: MER000459K The internal tool construction of Mercedes-Benz AG is responsible for the development, production and series integration of highly complex forming tools for the production of body parts from sheet metal. In the field of tension between the requirements of development and production, the area thus makes a significant contribution to the successful implementation of new vehicle projects. The tool construction is currently in a comprehensive transformation. The long-term goal is to develop processes, methods and control mechanisms across the site and to align the organization even more efficiently, more transparent and data-driven. For this purpose, KPI systems are newly developed and expanded in the department, as well as digital dashboards and modern approaches to process and power control are conceptualized. During the internship, you support our team in the development of modern KPI and reporting solutions and participate in the further development of strategic and organizational topics in toolmaking. These challenges include: Analysis, processing and visualization of data for management and sector reporting

Cooperation in the further development of methods for performance and process control

Support in the design, development and development of KPI dashboards (e.g. in Power BI)

Participation in strategic projects as part of the transformation of tool design

Preparation, implementation and follow-up of workshops, strategy and project dates

Preparation of presentations, decision documents and management reports

Cooperation with various departments at Sindelfingen and Bremen

Course in Economic Engineering, Business Informatics, Mechanical Engineering, Data Analytics or a comparable course
