As Director TV Purchasing & Forecasting (m/w/d), you take the overall responsibility for the quality and further development of our TV prognoses as a central basis for a data-driven TV purchase. Your focus is on ensuring a high level of prediction quality and continuously optimizing accuracy. This gives you the basis for sound decisions, efficient campaign management and a sustainable improvement of shopping performance. The role combines analytical excellence with a deep understanding of market mechanics and makes a significant contribution to the further development of our data-driven control on TV. Your tasks: Discipline and professional leadership of a small team of 2–3 employees (Direct Reports) and promotion of their professional development Overall responsibility for the quality, accuracy and continuous development of the TV forecast Development, validation and optimization of forecast models and scenarios (short and long term) Continuous analysis of TV market development and inflation dynamics by target groups, broadcasters and timelines Identification and integration of key factors (e.g. seasonality, weather, reprogramming) Building and Establishing Standards, Processes and Governance to Ensure High Forecast Quality Translation of forecast knowledge into concrete action recommendations for efficient campaign control Proactive communication of market developments, risks and opportunities to relevant stakeholders Close cooperation with the purchasing teams to anchor the forecast in operational decisions and KPI control
