We plan, finance, build and operate efficient and climate-friendly energy systems. Our wood heating power plant in Hamburg-Lohbrügge supplies approx. 7,500 households and public buildings with sustainable energy from regional biomass, making a major contribution to the energy transition.

As a technical operator (m/w/d) in the management at the Hamburg-Lohbrügge site, you ensure the smooth operation of our 12 MW wood heating power plant. In addition, you support the support of other renewable energy production plants from the Lohbrügge site. With your skills, passion for renewable energy, experience and commitment, you will be part of an experienced and motivated team from four colleagues.

Your duties

• Own-sponsored driving, operating, monitoring and controlling the entire wood-fired power plant and the secondary systems using modern computer-controlled control technology: ensuring optimal power plant operation alternately with colleagues.
• Ensuring the smooth operation of the plant through regular inspections and carrying out the necessary maintenance, cleaning and maintenance activities throughout the plant.
• Error and fault analyses, efficient fault detection and elimination for minimizing downtime.
• Organisation and coordination of fuel supply, intake and ash disposal and independent quality controls.
• Compliance with statutory provisions and regulatory requirements, such as emission limit values
• Support and coordination of foreign companies in maintenance and maintenance work, plant renovations, plant expansions and optimizations.
• Participation in our standby service (24/7).

Your profile

• Successfully completed technical training in the electromechanical field, e.g. as technician / master / electrician, electronic engineer, electrical installer, heating installer, mechatronics engineer or power planter / boiler warmer (m/w/d), as well as the willingness to continue professional training.
• Preferably you have knowledge in the operation of thermal power plants or ORC turbines or BHKWs for power generation, heating and energy centers, complex, process equipment or you have a professional experience that is appropriate to the position.
• They are responsible, committed and also keep a cool head in challenging situations.
• Their mode of operation is predictive and characterized by self-responsibility and self-responsibility. In addition, you are characterized by motivation, flexibility and reliability. You also appreciate the strength of a team, can adjust to different characters and integrate them very well into a team.
• You have a short driveway to the power plant. An operating authorization for hall cranes or crane license is advantageous.
• You have a class B licence.
• You can safely master the German language in word and writing.
