The Institute for Solar Terrestrial Physics deals with the properties and interactions of the coupled ionosphere thermal magnetosphere (ITM) system and its drive through energy inputs from the sun and from the atmosphere below. Within this research field, the Institute for Solar Terrestrial Physics at the Neustrelitz site in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania focuses on the exploration of space weather. The term space weather refers to the temporally variable conditions on the sun and in the sun wind as well as their effect on the ITM system.

The tasks of controlling, IT management and general office processes are located in the administrative area. Your location is directly assigned to the Institute Management. We are looking for a dedicated controller (m/w/d) to strengthen our administrative team. You expect a very good accompaniment of your entry as well as space to develop yourself further and to introduce your own ideas. Perspectively, you will take over the overall controlling of our institute. Your tasks Strategic planning, control and coordination of the institute finances in the basic and third-party funding sector Development of an individual reporting system tailored to the Institute Current analysis, clear preparation and interpretation of the economic indicators for the achievement of the objective of the Institute Investment and large investment in the institute Monitoring of current financial operations in the underfunded and in the third-party sector Human Resources Management at the Institute
