As a senior system engineer with a focus on application management, you are responsible for the operation and further development of central specialist applications. You work at the interface between IT and departments, analyzes requirements and implements them technically. You actively shape our application landscape and ensure stable, high-performance and sustainable systems.

You are responsible for the operation and further development of central specialist applications over their entire life cycle. You analyse technical requirements and implement them in technical solutions. You can set the stable operation securely and optimise systems with regard to performance, availability and wartability. You ensure that our systems meet security requirements and regulatory requirements. You manage Windows server operating systems (including configuration, patch management, monitoring and error analysis) and support the integration of new applications. You work with modern platform and container technologies (e.g. Kubernetes) and develop our system landscapes in this direction. You support system documentation and support in the further development of operating and support processes. You work closely with internal IT teams, manufacturers and service providers.

You have a degree or training in the IT field or a comparable qualification with a multi-year professional experience You have funidated experience in system administration and application management You have knowledge of the Windows server administration and typical infrastructure topics such as monitoring, patch management, backup and system documentation. Ideally, you bring knowledge of container technologies (including Kubernetes) and/or Microsoft 365 (including SharePoint Online) or you have the willingness to work in. You work structured, solution-oriented and take responsibility for stable system landscapes. You have a good understanding of system architectures and dependencies between applications and infrastructure, You convince by communication strength and like to work with specialist areas and IT teams. You have very good knowledge of German in word and writing.
