As Head of Service Operations (m/w/d), you take strategic responsibility for the entire IT service operation, service design and service transition at Conneqtive – from network and TK infrastructure to complex IT services. A growing team of service engineers and service owners and continuously develop processes, tools and structures. You act as a central control center for operational excellence – and as a savings-ring partner for the Conneqtive overall management.

You take on the professional and disciplinary leadership of the “Service Operations” area and ensure targeted personnel development as well as effective performance management. At the same time, you control external service providers within SLAs, monitor escalation management and perform performance reviews to ensure smooth cooperation. The strategic responsibility for service design, transition and operation lies with you, ensuring that the 2nd and 3rd level support for logical networks from OSI-Layer 2, TK systems and IT services works optimally. You develop and optimize ITSM processes such as incident, problem, change, lifecycle, release, asset and configuration management to guarantee a stable and powerful IT infrastructure. You make sure that service transfers run smoothly and operational standards are maintained until commissioning. The budget responsibility for “Service Operations” is in your hands, ensuring an economically sound basis for all service activities. At the same time, you conduct sound analyses on incidents and services, identify optimization potentials and initiate targeted improvement measures. You will meet strategic choices to select, introduce and operate essential operating tools such as monitoring, ticketing systems and asset databases to ensure efficient and transparent IT environment.

What you bring: You have a completed study of (economic) informatics or a comparable qualification and also bring relevant further education. With at least ten years of experience in IT service roles, you have deep expertise, taking on both technical and disciplinary leadership over several years. Your know-how in building and managing IT and network operating teams allows you to create efficient and efficient structures. You have well-founded knowledge of budget planning, project management and strategic process design, enabling you to steer economic and technological decisions in a targeted manner.
