Data Governance Specialist (m/f/d)

The Data Governance Specialist is the central controller for data quality at Funk. The role ensures that the standards, governance structures and processes defined in terms of data excellence are permanently anchored and developed in operational operation. It combines technical control with operational control and is the interface between the technical data infrastructure (IT/ISDS) and the decentralised data management structures in departments and branches. In this important interface, you continuously define and develop data standards, governance rules and process instructions and ensure their company-wide communication You plan and control DQ measures, perform samples and consistently track identified deficiencies This includes the monitoring and control of DQ-KPIs and the identification of systematic sources of error which are eliminated by appropriate measures to improve quality You also coordinate Doku teams and quality representatives and promote the exchange of best practices You define target images (e.g. grades of care), maintain the DQ roadmap and provide input for strategic projects You analyze processes and identify automation potentials to increase efficiency You make training needs clear and take care of appropriate training measures

You have a commercial training with a corresponding further qualification or a study in the field of BWL, economic informatics, insurance and the like. With their at least 3 years of professional experience in data management, quality assurance, controlling or process control, you have an important basis for this position; Experiences in the insurance or broker environment are advantageous Here you have a sound understanding of data structures, data quality criteria and governance concepts as well as the ability to read and interpret reports using BI tools Also, you are characterized by an analytical way of thinking, are communication-intensive and have enforcement capability You work independently and structured and attach great importance to working with your stakeholders
