Implementation, operation and administration of company-wide storage, virtualization and backup infrastructure with a focus on storage Responsible for capacity and performance management within the supervised infrastructure environments Creation, maintenance and further development of operating concepts Analysis of existing processes and systems and identification of optimization and improvement potentials Examination and development of the architecture of existing infrastructure environments Standardization and automation of technical and operational processes Creation, updating and quality assurance of technical documentation Cooperation in project-specific tasks and support in implementing technical IT projects

Completed studies of business information technology, completed vocational training in the field of information technology or comparable qualification through multiannual activities in IT Multiannual professional practice as well as profound expertise in storage, preferably with products from the manufacturer NetApp Very good knowledge in the operation of ONTAP as well as in handling the NetApp A series and C series Experiences in NetApp Replication and High Availability Technologies such as MetroCluster (MCC-IP) and SnapMirror Active Sync (SM-as) Practical knowledge in handling NetApp E-Series and StorageGRID as an object storage are of great advantage Ideally first contact points in the areas of backup, in particular with Veeam (VDP and VDC), as well as virtualization, in particular with VMware vSphere 9 and VCF 9 Practice in the design and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity solutions Know-how in automation and orchestration, for example with PowerShell, Ansible or REST/API Safe handling of monitoring, troubleshooting and performance tuning of complex IT infrastructures confidentiality with relevant IT security requirements; e.g. Encryption, RBAC, Compliance and Server Hardening Very good understanding as well as a structured, analytical and solution-oriented operation Impressed team skills and the ability and willingness to share knowledge and mentoring junior colleagues Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
