Consultant Strategic Network Transformation – Gas & Hydrogen (m/f/d)

You actively shape the future of our gas infrastructure: from the evaluation of the H2 readiness of our existing facilities to the strategic transformation of the networks. You coordinate the overarching planning taking into account sector coupling and decentralised feed technologies such as biomethane plants or electrolyzers. You analyze technical and economic aspects for changing supply tasks and new infrastructure projects. In addition, you will develop strategic foundations and guidelines for gas network planning in all pressure levels and bring your know-how to the assessment of investment and maintenance strategies. You represent the company's interests vis-à-vis upstream and downstream network operators, for example in the context of the consultation of the Gas and Hydrogen network development plan. As part of the team, you are the central interface to internal and external decision makers, associations and potential H2 big customers.

You have a master or diploma degree in the field of energy technology, economic engineering, gas supply technology or a comparable field of expertise. You have well-founded knowledge of the energy industry with the focus on gas networks and the willingness to work on the planning of complex infrastructure projects. In addition, you are safe to use standard software such as MS Office and have user knowledge in process-oriented IT systems such as SAP or GIS as well as in a network calculation software. You are convinced by a high level of readiness to learn, the desire to further develop your skills, and your ability to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
