Traffic planner*in Do you want to actively shape traffic planning in Freiburg and promote sustainable mobility concepts? Then you're right with us. With us you work on pioneering topics such as parking space management, charging infrastructure and carsharing – with direct influence on the quality of life in our city. You design quartier-related parking space concepts: you develop concepts for parking space management, residential parking and reducing walking distance parking. Analyze the demand for parking space and develop sustainable solutions to reduce car traffic.

You coordinate transport and structural studies: You set up traffic and structural studies as a basis for parking space concepts and coordinate their implementation together with internal and external parties as well as the municipal administration service (GVD).

You support the expansion of the charging infrastructure: You accompany the expansion of the charging infrastructure according to the Freiburg e-mobility concept and agree with specialist authorities, network operators, quarterly representations and other external actors.

You will continue to develop the Freiburg Carsharing: You will participate in the further development of the Freiburg Carsharing concept and coordinate the expulsion of new carsharing spaces in the public street space together with specialist authorities and external stakeholders.

You have one of the following qualifications: You have a degree in the field of transport, urban planning or another discipline related to urban planning, or You have a degree in geography, environmental sciences, environmental engineering, sustainability management or in a comparable course of study and have experience in urban transport planning.

Ideally, you already bring professional experience in conceptual traffic planning as well as in the area of road space design. We look forward to having experiences with the QGIS program. You have good communication skills and convince with safe presentation methods. With your friendly and confident appearance, you can combine different interests and develop sustainable solutions together. You like to work in the team, think networked and get involved in projects.

A full-time until 31.12.2028 (39 hrs. week) with payment up to pay group 11 TVöD, depending on the presence of your personal requirements.
