Manager Financial Processes & Accounting (m/f/d)

To further expand our accounting services, we are looking for a person who combines sound financial expertise with strong customer orientation and a secure sense of digitalization and automation.

Accountant services for our customers: Independent and service-oriented support of our customers in financial and accounting Implementation and management of current financial accounting including consolidation, bookings, account arrangements, payment and reminding Preparation of sales tax forecasts and monthly, quarterly and annual accounts in cooperation with tax advisors and auditors Creating meaningful evaluations, key figures and reports for customers and their departments Digitalization and automation: Analysis of existing accounting processes and identification and prioritization of digitalization and automation potentials Conception, introduction and continuous optimization of digital workflows – from document acquisition to reporting Professional support of OCR, workflow, interface and AI solutions including definition of rules, controls and exceptional processes Ensuring data quality and process stability and creating comprehensible process and work documentation Customer, project and quality responsibility: Recording customer requirements and transfer into sustainable, standardized and scalable service and process concept Control of onboarding, migration, introduction and optimization projects up to stable control operation Coordination with customers, software partners, tax advisors and internal departments as well as implementation of workshops and training Ensuring the agreed performance quality and compliance with legal, contractual and customer-related requirements

Completed commercial training, ideally with a focus on financial and accounting, taxation or a comparable qualification Multiannual practical experience in financial accounting, accounting, tax credit or comparable services Knowledge of debitor, creditor, property accounts and asset accounting Secure understanding of monthly and annual accounts processes as well as good knowledge of the HGB and the VAT bases Experience with DATEV | LEXWARE or comparable financial accounting or ERP systems High IT affinity and experience with digital document, release, document management or workflow processes Ability to record customer requirements structured, to evaluate professionally and to translate them into practical solutions Embossed customer and service orientation and binding communication Self-employed, structured, careful and responsible work Remarkable, but no compelling requirement**: Continuing training on the account holder (IHK) or a comparable qualification Experience in preparation or independent production of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts Experience in the design or implementation of digitalization and automation projects in accounting Knowledge of OCR, RPA, AI, interface or workflow solutions Experience in project management, customer onboarding or controlling external service providers Knowledge of GoBD-compliant accounting and archiving processes as well as data protection and information security It is important to us to have sound accounting principles, sense of responsibility, customer orientation and the willingness to take over operational tasks as reliably as challenging digitalization and development projects.
