Your tasks Construction, operation and development of a scalable data platform (Warehouse / Lake / Lakehouse)
Development and maintenance of robust ETL/ELT pipelines for integration of different data sources
Ensuring data quality, performance, scalability and cost optimization
Implementation of monitoring, governance and security concepts (including GDPR)
Close cooperation with analytics, product and engineering teams
Automation of data processes and continuous improvement of existing architectures
Active compilation of data strategy and evaluation of new technologies
Your profile Multiannual experience in data engineering or in a comparable role
Very good programming knowledge in Python and SQL as well as clean engineering standards (Tests, CI/CD)
Understanding modern data architectures and data modeling
Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) and common data tools (e.g. Airflow, dbt, Spark, Snowflake)
High quality and ownership minimum set for productive data pipelines
Ability to communicate technical solutions understandably and translate business requirements
Team player with interest in mentoring and continuous development
English knowledge (required); German skills are a plus
Nice to have Experience in building or re-designing data platforms
Work in data-intensive or highly scaling environments
