The area of responsibility shall include in particular: independent conception and implementation of courses (pre-ranking lectures and laboratory internships) in German and English in the Bachelor and Master degree courses of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering imparting sound teaching content to separate manufacturing processes, in particular chips, and removal/etroducing Teaching and practical application in the field of machine tools, in particular their technology, control and simulation, as well as in the field of innovative and additive manufacturing technologies (e.g. additive, subtractive and hybrid processes) Support, organisation and future-oriented technical development of the machine laboratory as well as the laboratories machine tools and manufacturing technology professional, dedicated support and guidance of students of all degree programs of the participating faculties as part of internships, project and final work during their practical phases Implementation of organisational and educational tasks in the course of international cooperation and the active development of global university partnerships and with partners from industry and research institutions applied research in one or more areas of the field of appeal with the aim of strategically intensifying the faculty's research activities and of sustainably increasing third-party influx from research funding and scientific cooperation Willingness to temporarily take courses in other areas of production and production technology close to the area of appeal, as well as participation in the further development of courses and modern teaching formats active and responsible takeover of tasks in the academic administration and the bodies of the faculty and the university

A dynamic and dedicated personality with proven professional expertise in manufacturing technology as well as a pronounced didactic suitability is sought.
