System Engineer Linux (m/w/d)

You take over the administration and maintenance of RHEL servers, including installation, configuration and administration using the satellite management environment. You administrate and support in the implementation of our internal developer platform based on a managed Kubernet. You are responsible for ensuring system availability and performance through proactive maintenance and monitoring. You are responsible for implementing and managing automation solutions such as Puppet or Ansible to increase efficiency and avoid errors. You implement and manage security measures on RHEL servers and take over the planning and implementation of IT infrastructure projects in the RHEL environment. You carry out bug analyses and fixes in collaboration with the IT support team and the developer teams, and you’ll be able to get acquainted. You create and provide technical documentation and operating instructions.

You have extensive knowledge of how to use Linux operating systems, especially Redhat Enterprise Linux. You have knowledge of automation tools (Puppet/Ansible). You are safe in handling container technologies and control processes via APIs. You have optimal experience in script programming (e.g.: Bash, Go, Python) to automate administration tasks. You bring basic knowledge to Active Directory, DNS, networks and IT architectures, IT security and server hardware. You have a customer-oriented way of working, a high level of personal responsibility, team spirit and communication strength. You bring analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
