In your function, you take over leading Systems Engineering tasks as part of the establishment of the fastest electron microscope in the world, the ZEISS MultiSEMs, in the semiconductor market. In particular, you are responsible for: negotiate system specifications with product management and customers

systematically develop concepts, architectures and budgeting for machine control systems/software in close cooperation with selected top experts

Promoting concept decisions at system level

ensure a consistent set of derived specifications for subsystems

plan, control and implement corresponding work packages

monitor compliance with specifications in the overall system

central contact for technological topics for internal stakeholders and customers, prepare and communicate project results for these

very good university degree in computer science, electrical or information technology or comparable qualification

multiannual experience in systems engineering for the industrialization of high-technology, like already in the semiconductor environment

ideally, a deep understanding of the control of complex optical machines, the integration of electronic components and data processing with high data rates as well as first experience in project management

good knowledge in the design of software architectures, in object-oriented programming (ideally .Net C#), multi-threading and visual studio/Azure DevOps

the ability to balance the interests of different disciplines and transform them into a common approach

a very structured, independent and targeted way of working and looking at the essentials

a convincing appearance, willingness to design as well as pronounced communication and team skills

Willingness to occasionally travel abroad

very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
