For our growing Industrial Automation Team we are looking for a Senior SPS Programmer (m/w/d) with project experience in the automotive environment. Industrial Automation projects in this role require regular travel activities of ~75 % to our customers and BÄR Automation GmbH to Gemmingen, near Heilbronn. (The Agile Robots SE has been a majority shareholder of BÄR Automation GmbH since 2023.) Alternatively, we are also open to candidates: women who are mainly located in Gemmingen or Stuttgart and are willing to regularly travel from there to our customers and to Munich to the headquarters. Varied tasks

Programming and configuration of SPS and HMI Diagnosis and troubleshooting related to automation systems, including hardware and software components. Cooperation with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system errors immediately. Regular maintenance and updating of automation systems to ensure optimal performance. You support the commissioning and testing of electrical systems during installation and commissioning. You eliminate electrical problems, diagnose errors and perform remedial measures. You keep up with the progress in automation technology and give input on the basis of industry trends and proven methods in terms of implementation of construction improvements.

Multiannual professional experience with PLC programming languages and HMI programming You have experience with hardware and AI software solutions for automation You are familiar with 3D vision systems Complete study of electrical engineering, computer science or a related subject 75 % travel readiness Very good communication skills both in German and English You are characterized by an independent, thorough and team-oriented work setting You are bringing hand-on mentality and initiative
