Implementation of FEM calculations and simulations of the electromagnetic and thermal behavior of electric motors Electromagnetic design and development of synchronous machines incl. Magnetic circuit, winding, insulation systems and industrialization – from the concept phase to the standard maturity Preparation and participation in technical voting, internal reviews and customer discussions Developing innovative solutions in the team and convincing presentation at the customer Assessment of new electromagnetic concepts, technologies and their industrial feasibility Technical documentation, calculation reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders Support in testing, testing and industrialization processes of engines and subsystems
At least 3–5 years of professional experience in the field of electric motors / electric machines Successfully completed study of electrical engineering, mechatronics or related fields (M.Sc. / PhD), ideally with focus on electrical machines & drives Knowledge of FEM tools such as Altair Flux, Ansys Maxwell, JMAG or FEMM Ideally experience in system simulation (e.g. Altair Activate, MATLAB/Simulink) Good knowledge of mechanics, materials science and interdisciplinary interfaces independent, structured and analytical procedures and safe occurrence High communication and team skills, creativity and technical passion Willingness to participate in international development projects
