As a packaging buyer (m/w/d), you are an important part of our supply chain management team and contribute significantly to ensuring that our products reach the customer safely, attractively and sustainably. You actively shape our purchasing policy and ensure the supply of high-quality packaging solutions. Your tasks in detail: Purchasing strategy and policy: Priorities: corrugated board and printed films Establishment and development in the interest of supply and quality assurance Observation of the procurement market

Supplier management and development: investigation and, where appropriate, Decision on new sources of supply in Germany and abroad, having regard to the quality requirements, in accordance with the quali­ty-responsible amendments Negotiations with existing and new instruments Implementation of supplier reviews and audits (if necessary)

Demand planning and inventory management: determination of demand in cooperation with the distribution departments and procurement of product patterns and substitu­tion materials

Product optimization and innovation: Improvement of existing packaging in line with packaging development

Contract management and administration: completion of framework contracts, installation of master data

Negotiating skills: excellent negotiating strength and capacity Training: commercial training or studies in the field of economics, purchasing, logistics or comparable Experience: Professional experience in purchasing and/or packaging development is of advantage, but also popular growth Skills: Business thinking and good communication skills Software: good knowledge in SAP and MS Office
