Senior Consultant Urologist (m/f/d)

For one of our long-term customers in the Ludwigsburg area, a successful house of maximum supply with approx. 950 beds, we are looking for a senior physician for urology (m/w/d).

The Department of Urology has the entire range of modern urological diagnostics and therapy. In addition to a designated focus in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery, the range of services includes uro-oncology, stone therapy, andrology, child urology and the treatment of functional diseases. The department is a certified center for urological oncology and continuity, a recognized center of competence for laser therapy and medicamentous tumor therapy and works in close cooperation with an oncological center.

Your tasks:

• Medical, organizational and strategic co-responsibility of the Department of Urology
• Operational activity throughout the spectrum of open, minimally invasive and robotic-assisted urology
• Participation in Uro oncology including System Therapy of Urological Malignome
• Supervision and further training of medical colleagues
• Active participation in in interdisciplinary tumour conferences and in the further development of clinical processes
• Representation of the chief physician in medical and administrative matters

Your profile:

• Specialist medical certificate for urology, ideally with doctorate
• Multiannual experience in Uro-Oncology, Endourology and Operational Urology
• Funded knowledge of open, laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgery
• Experience in the system therapy of urological tumors, additional name “Medical tumor therapy” desirable
• Proven leadership experience and organizational skills
• Engagement for innovation, process optimization and interdisciplinary cooperation
• High social competence, empathy and joy in training colleagues
