In the emergency room Schorndorf, about 25,000 patients are treated outpatiently and inpatiently. The emergency room is a receiving station with ten beds and a Chest-pain Unit (CPU) with five beds. Both units have a central monitor system. The emergency reception is a central point of contact with the regional trauma center Schorndorf as well as the certified local stroke station in the house. In addition, an internalistic shock space concept is established. The implementation of the Manchester Triage as well as an emergency practice integrated in the emergency take-up area with common pedals are of course for us. The unit is headed by chief physician Dr. Rothermel (fall surgery / general surgery). For internalist specialist supervision, such as a dedicated specialist (m/w/d) for internal medicine, who, in the team with Dr. Rothermel, leads and develops emergency medically. Interdisciplinary cooperation with short paths as well as an excellent working environment with high collegial cohesion characterizes us.
