Senior Automation Engineer PLC & Project Responsibility (m/f/d)

In this key role, you take responsibility for demanding automation projects – from concept development to software production to successful commissioning with the customer. In doing so, you act as a technical Sparring partner for project management, design and customers and actively contribute your experience to the further development of standards and solutions.

Technical responsibility for automation projects in international machinery and plant engineering Conception, programming and further development of demanding PLC and visualization solutions (TIA Portal / WinCC) Coordination of automation-related implementation in close coordination with design, project management and service Technical contact for customers and internal interfaces during project processing Own-responsible commissioning of complex machines and plants at the plant and at the customer's premises Continuous optimization of existing automation solutions

Studies or further engineering in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology or comparable qualification Multiannual experience in PLC programming and commissioning of complex machines or systems Very good knowledge in the Siemens environment (TIA Portal, Step 7, WinCC) Experience in technical management or coordination of automation projects Sovereign appearance towards customers, project teams and external partners Good knowledge of English and international readiness to travel about 20%
