You observe, analyze and evaluate independently building, housing, energy and climate policy developments at national, federal and EU level and derive strategic options and recommendations You actively build, maintain and develop resilient networks – in particular with regard to Berlin’s national and urban policy as well as relevant federal policy decision-makers, institutions and stakeholders (internal and external) With a strategic view, you will be able to significantly further develop our political positioning, develop sound background papers, opinions, argumentation lines and decision templates for internal and external addressees You design, control and responsible formats and policies of political communication and implement them independently and purposefully You actively represent the interests of the company in associations, working groups and bodies, prepare appointments in terms of content and take over the technical preparation You design, plan and manage events with political and professional actors – from content to implementation In addition, you act as a impulsive Sparring Partner for internal disciplines in political issues and interface topics

You have successfully completed a degree in political, legal, economic or humanities and have several years of professional experience in the political representation of interest (e.g. in political institutions, associations, agencies or companies) Ideally you bring experience in the areas of housing, urban development, energy or climate policy You have very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing and are able to prepare and convey complex political content in an address-oriented, strategic and convincing manner. You are characterized by pronounced analytical skills, strategic thinking and a structured, result-oriented and independent way of working. You bring a high degree of sense of responsibility, discretion and organizational talent and act confidently in dealing with political decision-makers You convince by their own initiative, commitment and professional appearance, as well as by the need to actively shape and advance themes
