You are responsible for the design, implementation and continuous development of data security and data compliance solutions based on Microsoft Purview in a complex, hybrid IT landscape. Existing data flows and landscapes are analyzed by you, identified risks and developed technical and organizational measures to comply with data protection and compliance requirements (e.g. GDPR, ISO 27001). Advise and support Microsoft Purview integration into existing processes and applications You are specialist areas and stakeholders – from request intake to implementation. You develop and maintain policies, regulations and technical controls to ensure holistic data compliance and to protect sensitive data. As an interface, you act between IT security, data protection, personnel department and other relevant areas and moderate the exchange for establishing insider disk measures. You observe current developments in data security, zero-trust architectures and Microsoft technologies and bring innovative impulses to the organization. Supporting training and awareness measures for different target groups is provided.

Master or equivalent degree in a relevant field (e.g. computer science, business informatics) At least three years of professional experience and very good knowledge of the Microsoft Purview platform with specialization in data security and data compliance as well as interface topics such as identity management (refer to this knowledge by the manufacturer certifications SC-400 or SC-401 and SC-300 Very good understanding and at least three years of practical experience in IT architectures – especially in the context of cloud platforms (Azure, Microsoft 365) and hybrid IT landscapes Deep understanding of data governance and data security – processes in the public environment and their technical and organizational implementation with Microsoft Purview Good knowledge of the organisation and regulatory environment (GDPR, ISO 27001), established IT security processes (SIEM/SOC interfaces) and a strong understanding of potential data outflow scenarios Very good knowledge of Microsoft Entra administration, security and management as well as the Microsoft Tenant Administration Very good knowledge of PowerShell, KQL and understanding of Microsoft Graph Security APIs Good knowledge of advanced security mechanisms and zero-trust architectures At least 3 years of professional experience in stakeholder management within a company Ability to comprehend complex technical content for different target groups (ideally proven by membership in the Microsoft Certified Trainer Program) Very good communication skills in German and English
