IT in-house technician in the data center (m/w/d)

We have developed the first German Enterprise Open Source Cloud and rely on the power from our four data centers in Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Cologne. For more than 25 years, we have been accompanying companies and contractors in IT-modernisation with innovative cloud services, hosting and colocation. What drives us? We are currently looking for a full-time and unlimited staff:in as an IT-Haustechniker for our data center in Cologne.

You are responsible for the maintenance, maintenance and monitoring of the technical infrastructure in the data center Energy and building technology, emergency power supply, USV systems, fire protection systems, recooling systems and climate technology are regularly part of your tasks You monitor the existing building control system (GLT), coordinates necessary repairs and implements modernization measures With the help of a ticket system, you keep an eye on disturbances and todos and continuously process them Where necessary, organize and tax external companies and service providers

Your personality, paired with: A completed technical training or comparable qualification Handicraft skills and an independent, flexible and solution-oriented way of working in the care of our structures Cross-working technical understanding or experience in the supervision of data centers and knowledge in the handling of GLT, EDV and monitoring systems good organizational capacity to coordinate maintenance and foreign companies, and high sense of responsibility and reliability Interest in personal development in various technologies and participation in remunerated reputation Ideally a valid passenger car license very good knowledge of German and good English We know that you may not currently meet all requirements.
