For our service field Customer Service (KDS) in the Tribe Cyber Defense Center (KDSCDC), we are looking for you in full or part time as Cyber Defense / Network Security Engineer (m/w/d) in Karlsruhe, Munich or Münster. Your activity is assigned to the Squad Anomaly in Network (SAN). Here you work with 4 colleagues across the site and with various interfaces.

You are part of the expansion of our internal and market-acting cyber defense centers in the field of anomaly and attack detection in the network. You implement the new Network Detection & Response solution and thus contribute significantly to improving anomial recognition and the appropriate response in the network. You can also set high-availability operation and optimize network security solutions (Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS), as well as Network Detection and Response (NDR)) and continuously develop operating procedures. In addition, you are responsible for the Web Application Firewall (WAF) with your team and ensures the protection of our IT services through the permanent optimization of the control system. You actively work in agile development projects in the security environment (Scrum, Kanban).

Personality with profile

You have a degree in computer science, information technology or business informatics as well as several years of relevant professional experience or training in the IT field and many years of relevant professional experience or comparable qualifications. You have a deep understanding of network technologies and protocols as well as very good product and technology knowledge in the network sector, especially NDR, DDoS and/or WAF are desirable. Good knowledge of at least one programming or script language, such as Python and the use of residual APIs, complete your professional profile. You have knowledge of German (at least C1 level) and good English (B2 level). It is a structured and analytical method. You are convinced by a high degree of initiative, readiness to learn and flexibility.

salary frame and career level The annual salary for this position is between €61,000 and €88,000 for a 38-hour week, depending on the corresponding experience and qualification, and pays on our career model as follows:
