Product Owner (m/w/d) Company: DÖRKEN Membranes Location: Herdecke Type of contract: Unlimited We are looking for an entrepreneurial thinking personality with a technical understanding of the building envelope, especially in the area of steep roof and facade membranes. The position combines strategic product management with technical design in the form of industrial/product partnerships for wood construction, pre-production and object business. You are responsible for the entire product life cycle from market analysis to product development to successful market launch and portfolio optimization.

Strategic and operational responsibility for the Steildach- & Fassadenmembrane product portfolio and its market-oriented development Central interface between the market and internal departments, such as sales, development and marketing Promoting the development of system solutions for timber construction, pre-fabrication and object business

Complete studies in the field of civil engineering, wood engineering, architecture, economic engineering and Technical business or a completed technical training with corresponding training and professional experience in the relevant environment Multiannual experience in the product management of technical construction products including technical project business and support for international cooperation projects Knowledge of roof and facade systems, structural seals, membrane and foil systems, building envelope, timber construction and pre-production, and understanding of market requirements, standards and trends in these areas. Ideally, deep knowledge of the French construction sector Safe handling of Stage-Gate and Product Development Processes Knowledge in cross-border portfolio and life cycle management Ability to analyze various key figures and understand price strategies Embossed market and customer orientation with a high level of communication at all levels of the company and ability to advise sales in advance sales and knowledge transfer (e.g. in training) Structured and independent operation German and English knowledge in word and writing, further language skills of advantage Secure handling of MS Office, ERP systems and BI solutions
